On a personal note, since reading and seeing &quot;Inconvenient Truth,&quot; I&#039;ve changed my incandescent lights to high efficience flouresents, offset my yearly &quot;climate impact footprint&quot; by donating money ($12 per carbon short ton)to alternate clean fuel sources at www.nativenergy.com, and written an Editorial in the Jewish Standard, a copy of which can be found on my blog.

You may want to drop Senator&#039;s Lieberman and McCain a note of support on their carbon cap bill, which seems to be based on the Kyoto Accord (which the US did not sign).  Especially if you are one of their constituents.   If you&#039;re not, it can&#039;t hurt to write your representatives and let them know how you feel.  Let them know that this will be the issue you will be basing your vote on for the determinable future.</description>
